Arma Creative Director Ivan Buchta Joins the Gray Zone Warfare Team

Hey, everyone,

We’re excited to welcome a great new addition to our team: Ivan Buchta, who joins our studio as Associate Creative Director.

Ivan brings two decades of experience from Bohemia Interactive, where he worked on the Arma series across multiple creative and design roles, ultimately serving as Creative Director. His experience spans tactical sandbox design, systemic gameplay, world building, and the creation of large-scale military experiences.

At our studio, Ivan will work alongside our existing leadership and contribute to the long-term creative direction of Gray Zone Warfare. He joins the team at an important point in the game’s development, as we continue building on its foundations and expanding the scope and depth of its tactical sandbox.

That work continues through major updates that bring us closer to our long-term vision for Gray Zone Warfare. The next major step is Update 0.5, currently planned for release later this year, bringing new features and content alongside further development of the game’s core systems.

We’ll have much more to share about Update 0.5 and the future of Gray Zone Warfare in the coming months.

Stay tuned!

Every Move Matters,
