Today, the United Nations arrived in our homeland.
To avoid any confusion, we are publishing the official statement from President Narith Sayavong regarding the UN’s decision to launch an operation in Lamang:
“Many of you may be afraid, thinking the UN has invaded our homeland — but rest assured, they are here with my full approval.
For too long, our nation has been slandered on the world stage as a so-called dictatorship that oppresses its people. I know that’s not true. You know that’s not true. And now, the whole world will see the truth for itself.
If anyone feels their voice has not been heard, you are welcome to speak with UN representatives — known here as the UNLRA. But let me make one thing clear: I am always here to listen.
No one else will help us — only Lamangese people can truly help one another.”
We are proud to publish this statement from our President and urge all citizens to remain calm during the arrival of the UNLRA. The United Nations will soon see for themselves that the accusations against us were false — and that we have nothing to hide.
Lowest Crime Rate
The Democratic Republic of Lamang is experiencing a sixth consecutive year of plummeting crime statistics.
“We are doing a good job educating the people that crime does not pay,” police spokesman Sao Yang commented.

We have always upheld transparency in our nation. There are no hidden truths to uncover. That is precisely why we allowed the presence of UN forces. Their mission is to witness firsthand that Lamang is a peaceful and modern democracy.
We trust that the UNLRA will respect our laws, customs, and sovereignty and refrain from attempting to impose a new form of colonialism. The people of Lamang are peaceful by nature, but our tolerance should never be mistaken for submission.
If they set aside their degenerate Western habits and choose to live in harmony with us, they will be met with open arms. But if they arrive bearing the whip, they will learn that Lamang is not to be trifled with.

Film Review by Nok Dam — Jurassic World: Rebirth
Another Jurassic something. Hollywood continues to squeeze every last drop from this franchise as if their survival depended on it.
Once again, highly trained mercenaries are inexplicably useless, while a dysfunctional American family is the one group that manages to outwit prehistoric monsters.
The overall plot feels basic, and the only thing saving this movie from the swamp of mediocrity is Scarlett Johansson.
