Supporter Preview for 0.5: Everything You Need to Know
Hey, everyone,
The Rogue Ops update for Gray Zone Warfare launches on October 22. To express our gratitude for your support, all Supporter Edition owners will receive access to the update preview starting October 19. Any progress made during this period will carry over to the full release.
Read on to learn how to access the preview.
How to Access the Supporter Preview
To join the Supporter Preview, you need to own the Supporter Edition of Gray Zone Warfare.
If you would like to purchase the Supporter Edition or upgrade your current edition, you can do so through the game’s store page. Players who already own the base game, Tactical Edition, or Elite Edition can upgrade to Supporter by paying only the price difference.
Once the preview begins on October 19, you will need to switch your Steam branch in order to download the 0.5 build. Please note that after switching, you will not be able to return to version 0.4.7.5. The exact start time will be announced later.
How to download the update:
Open Steam
Right-click on Gray Zone Warfare in your Library
Select “Properties”
Go to “Game Versions & Betas”
Select the “supporter-preview” branch
Download version 0.5 by clicking “Update” in Steam. If the option does not appear, restart Steam, switch to offline mode, then back online, and try again.

Soft Wipe
With Update 0.5, we are avoiding a full wipe and proceeding with a partial wipe instead. This will allow us to rebalance the in-game economy for the new update while letting players retain their progression and avoid having to grind from scratch.
Players will retain their progression from Update 0.4, including completed tasks, rank, unlocked apparel, vendor levels, and statistics, while their locker and money will be wiped.
When first entering the Supporter Preview or the full release of Update 0.5, players will need to choose which mode they want to transfer their existing character progression to. This action is irreversible. The faction stays the same.
