THE WORLD IS WATCHING
January 15, 2025
The brilliant vision of our glorious President Narith has put our island on the world map! His grand plans are coming to fruition as foreign newspapers discuss the beautiful Midnight Sapphire Resort. But enough of my writing; here is the praise from the Worldview News.
"The number one tourist destination for wealthy individuals has become the Midnight Sapphire Resort in the Democratic Republic of Lamang. This small country in Southeast Asia is making big waves lately as many Hollywood stars praise the generosity of the locals and the modern approach to hospitality service they have experienced."
It's wonderful to read such warm words from our foreign colleagues. We are sure there will be more similar articles about our beautiful homeland to share with our dear readers.
Scientific Breakthrough in National Productivity
Recent findings from our nation's top scientists have uncovered a remarkable, some might even say sacred, phenomenon. Every time our esteemed President, Narith Sayavong, visits a workplace, there is a statistically significant boost in productivity.
"This is indeed the case," confirmed Professor Phai Lor. "We've dubbed it the Sayavong Effect, and we're currently exploring methods to harness this phenomenon on a national scale."
Commentary by Khamphanh Vongphachanh
Our land is a paradise.
You might have your doubts; maybe you've seen a glossy Hollywood film or some polished foreign promo, but believe me, there's no place like Lamang.
I've traveled the world. I've seen the skyscrapers of New York, wandered through Russia, sipped coffee beneath the Eiffel Tower, eaten sushi in Okinawa, and even braved the dreariness of London… But none of those places come close to the richness of our culture.
There's something truly special here, something you only begin to understand once you leave. And that's precisely why I urge you: don't go! Don't waste your time. Out there, it's a barren land.
There's a reason so many Lamangese return after chasing illusions abroad.
And above all, we have universal healthcare! That alone speaks volumes.

Film Review by Nok Dam — Kadhalikka Neramillai
Kadhalikka Neramillai is a charming Indian romantic comedy written and directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. The film explores themes of modern relationships, single parenthood, and societal expectations, with a focus on how differing views on family and relationships evolve.
Even though the second part is a little weaker, the film still feels like a breath of fresh air compared to many formulaic Hollywood rom-coms. Definitely give it a chance. It’s entertaining and, in many ways, relatable. After all, like us, Indians have also endured the cruelty of the British Empire. In spirit, they’re like cousins.
7/10
Fun with Girls
Never confide in a vacuum cleaner. They’re always collecting dirt.
